MOF @ pavillion, Japanese Sweets

MOF is one of our favorite places to have desserts, especially healthy ones! hehee, thats an excuse for me to feel less guilty ;-) I wanted to share what we usually have there on weekday evenings..or sometimes I would just drop by for a quick soft serve ice cream on a cone, which is usually a must when I come to pavillion.

They mainly consist of red bean paste, macha ice cream, glutinous balls and hot fried sweet potatoes! yum! MOF heree we comeeeeeeee!

Sage, The Gardens

So, it was his birthday and I wanted to take him somewhere special and he has not stop talking bout Sage... Now, that wasn't a surprise bout where I decided to feed him for his birthday dinner...
Yes, my man has turned 27 this year and yes I do still love him as much if not even more when I first met him at 23.

The menu. We opted for the dinner set that night. With many mouth drooling choices to choose from and costing only RM 150++ per person, it was a steal!

I heart pretty in pink mumps, soft warm bread with dip.

Our starters, wagyu carpaccio for me and what else but foie gras for him!

Palate cleanser and our mains. Lamb rack and foie gras.

Dessert time! Hazelnut souffle and his choice of strawberries, meringue and ice cream.
Nice hot cup of coffee and mini macarons!

A treat for the birthday boy and a blurry but happy us!
I hope you enjoyed your bithday dins meem, I love you :-)

The Brilliant Brunch @ Dish

I have been wanting to go the Brilliant Brunch at Dish, Dua Annexe ever since I've heard about it! So you can expect how excited I was when he brought me there to chase both our 'end of holidays & the start of our excruciating final year' blues away.
Many reviews I read made me prepare my tummy for a fulfilling and delicious meal but towards the end we both realized that there were many more dishes we didn't manage to try due to the fact that both our stomachs have expanded till pushing our diaphragms and making it really difficult to breath..yes! we were both that full!! but it was fulfilling indeed. This would definitely not be our last time there..we are sure to go again, and I have planned what I'm going to eat on our next visit already!

Most dishes were made to order, which means they were served piping hot..and it gave us time to relax our masseter muscles!

Carved beef ribs with mint sauce, sauteed mushrooms with yorkshire pudding.

Desserts Galore: from strawberry & marsmallows fondue, rocky road bars, to truffles and mini pavlovas.

Freshly squeezed fruit juices to wash it all down..

Chicken rissoto sent to our table! An unexpected but sweet gesture.
All in all this brunch although pricey was definitely worth every penny, the food was good, service was great..only thing to complain bout is that we cant 'tapau' left-overs ;-P
